She combines her exceptional skills in all phases of restorative and cosmetic dentistry with her caring personality to give your family superior dental care.
As an advocate for her patients, she has created a unique dental experience where each patient is treated like royalty. What’s more, she is committed to changing the mindset of those who visit our office by providing patient-focused healthcare in a spa-like atmosphere.
Dr. Jan Cobble is a native of Kansas and has lived in Tulsa for 40 years. He is happily married to his wife Susie, and they have two grown children, Kristin and Dane, plus three grandchildren, Forrest, Zoe, and Kaelen. Upon completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas, Dr. Cobble earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Helping people safeguard and restore their dental health has been a real honor and privilege for Dr. Cobble. He feels truly blessed to have found a calling that allowed him to help people and impact their lives in such a positive way. Over the years, his dedication to his craft led him to pursue continuing education courses to offer superior care for his patients, making him a leader in Tulsa’s dental community.
These days, he is retired, but his love and passion for his profession remain. He has left an extraordinary and abiding legacy at Masterpiece Smiles centered around providing exceptional dentistry in a safe and comfortable atmosphere.
Dr. Lynna Van Merkey received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, graduating with Distinction. She was inducted to the highly prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society, receiving the OKU Dr. William S. Kramer Award based on demonstrated scholarship, character, and the potential promise for the advancement of dentistry and service to humanity.
She is passionate about continuing education to expand her knowledge and skills in all areas of dentistry. Dr. Van Merkey has a cheerful, caring personality complemented by a gentle treatment approach. She is committed to providing the highest quality of care to her patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Van Merkey enjoys spending time with her husband and her fur babies, Winston the standard poodle and Moose the giant schnauzer. She loves to cook, do yoga, paint, and play the piano.
